The Anniversary of the Fire: The Strength and Widsom I Have Gained

Two years ago I was sitting at my table working on my laptop when suddenly I felt like I wasn’t safe.  About thirty minutes later I was informed there was a fire in my building and I needed to evacuate.  Within minutes I watched my apartment go up in flames, belongings and mementos I would never see again.  While the visual of the fire is still fresh in my mind, I am grateful for the strength and wisdom I have gained from the experience.
